The 2013 Summer Meeting of the North Carolina Division of the Society of American Foresters will focus on threats to the integrity of Appalachian forest ecosystems and strategies available to managers to maintain or restore ecosystem function. A diverse group of presenters will provide valuable information on the past, present and future of mountain forests with topics ranging from wildlife, hydrology, and silviculture, to updates on forest pests. The meeting will attract professional foresters from state and federal agencies, private industry, consultants, academics, and students.
The June 5th Pest Management Session is approved for 3 CFE category 1-CF, the June 6th Technical Session is approved for 6 CFE category 1-CF, and the June 7th Field Trip is approved for 4 category 1-CF credits.
