Welcome to the home page of the Appalachian Society (ApSAF), one of 33 state/multi-state societies that make up the national body known as the Society of American Foresters. ApSAF is composed of professional foresters and forest technicians from the three state region of Virginia, North Carlolina, and South Carolina.

  • Oct 21st, 2010 - South Carolina Association of Consulting Foresters Fall Meeting, Harbison Environmental Education Center, Columbia, SC. "GPS in the Real World" -- this full day meeting will allow participants to use and investigate a variety of GPS units inside and in the woods for various forestry applications. $65 early registration includes lunch and dinner. CFE's will be available. Contact Jim Adkins (jadkins@sc.rr.com) for more information. You do not have to be an ACF member to atttend!
